Data security / Documented at every stage

Confidence you
can account for.

Data security is part of the process, from identifying a device to verifying its erasure before release.

Let's talk

The process behind the confidence

Identify.
Sanitise.
Verify.

01

Keep the identity connected

Devices are recorded by unique serial number to connect collection, handling and final disposition.

02

Use a controlled erasure process

Our workflow aligns with NIST SP 800-88 data sanitisation practices, supported by enterprise tools such as Blancco.

03

Verify each successful result

Each erasure result is checked again before release. Devices are not cleared for release unless erasure has completed and been verified.

04

Document the outcome

A successfully erased device can be supported by a digitally signed erasure certificate linked to that asset.

Evidence you can connect to an asset

Erasure certificate information

  • Device serial number
  • Erasure method
  • Date and timestamp
  • Verification result
  • Unique report identifier

Available for successfully erased devices, according to the agreed project scope.

Tools, methods and downstream handling

Clear about what
supports the process.

METHODS

NIST-aligned practices

Data sanitisation methods are selected for the media and project requirements. NIST SP 800-88 is a guideline, separate from company certification.

TOOLS

Enterprise erasure technology

Technology such as Blancco supports controlled erasure and reporting. Product or vendor certifications relate to the stated technology or provider.

DOWNSTREAM

R2v3-certified facilities

Non-reusable assets are directed to certified downstream facilities. Facility certification belongs to the relevant processing operator.
